TRAILER THOUGHTS: Raya And The Last Dragon


Finally Disney did something right in a long time, after their lion king remake and some pretty average films, Disney is back with bang with the second trailer for Raya and the last dragon. So let's talk about it.

1. Aesthetic: The movie looks visually stunning, the movie shows us that there are different tribes in their word and you can clearly see how much effort was put into making them as much differentiable as possible and the scenery with it's long takes and wide shots looks beautiful, kudos to Disney for creating such a beautiful world for us

2. Action: The action by the looks of the trailer feels jam-packed. You have got sword fighting, stick fighting, dragons(It's in the title) and much more, seems like the movie is going to be bamboozled with fight scenes.

3. Comedy: Disney has always made films that can be enjoyed by every age group and this film looks no different, I am skeptical on how they are going to use the dragon because by the looks of the trailer it feels like they are going to use the dragon for comic-relief for the most part, I just hope that I'm wrong.

4. Music: It's awesome, the trailer had some pretty great music in the teaser trailer and the trailer follows the same tradition with perfectly encapsulating the lyrics as ♪ I. Am. That. Good ♪. 

5. Props to Disney with female-centric characters who are true warriors and not princesses, because as far as far as I can remember there was only one female-centric warrior film and that was Mulan, Incredibles 1 and 2 had Helen as lead but that film was by Pixar and not Walt Disney Animation Studios

6. And this is the first film by Disney that is located in South-East Asian, so thumbs up for that

Overall I have very high expectations from this film and let's just hope that it delivers on those promises.

Ranking Every Harry Potter Movie: Non-Spoiler

Today I'll be ranking down every Harry Potter movie that was released excluding the "Fantastic Beasts" franchise(I'll make a separate blog once it's planned 5 movies are released or I'll update this blog).
