MARD KO DARD NAHI HOTA : The Indian Superhero We Need (Non-Spoiler)

It was awesome. I had watched this film about a year ago and I enjoyed every second of it. It was quite saddening that a film of such caliber and heart poured into it could gross only 2 crores over it's 20 crore budget. But keeping that sadness aside, let's talk about what makes this film so engrossing, exciting, funny.

1. STORY : The story is really grounded and natural. If you're expecting a story like Krirsh or Avengers type threat then you'll be disappointed, the movie is about catching a chain-snatcher, but that's what I need from an Indian superhero because I personally don't want some Indian Thanos attack India, what I want is our Indian superhero portraying real word problem and Vasan Bala has brilliantly written this movie. Another example of grounded Indian Superhero would be 'Bhavesh Joshi Superhero(Which too was a major flop by grossing just 1-2 crores over a 25 crores budget even though being a perfect Indian superhero film)'

2. DIRECTION : The movie is brilliantly shot and directed. Vasan Bala does a brilliant job in making us relive our longings for superhero, though some scenes do feel a little bit stretched but overall the film is nicely paced. Another brilliant move by Vasan Bala is usage of slow motion due to which action feels cinematic(Though some people might not like this excessive use of slow motion which is completely fine). The humor too is portrayed brilliantly and this comes by the perfect villain 'Jimmy' and the wackiness of the story. Overall you would have a smiling face throughout the runtime of the film

3. ACTING : The hero of this movie is Gulshan Deviah who portrays both 'Jimmy(The cliché psychotic villian)'  and 'Mani(The cliché drunken master)' and another strong point of this film is that every character whether be side or main portrays his/her character perfectly and with finesse

4. MUSIC : It's catchy and groovy but overall this movie has just good music, in my opinion you would thoroughly enjoy the playback

INDIVISUAL SCORES :
1. Story : 9/10 (A really good Indian Superhero origin story)
2. Direction : 9/10 (1 point deducted for some pacing issues)
3. Acting : 9/10 (Every actor is just brilliant)

OVERALL SCORE :
9/10 (A really good Indian Superhero film, not surprising since it won 'People's Choice Midnight Madness Award' at Toronto International Film Festival)

Thanks for reading.

Ranking every Mission Impossible film

Mission Impossible is the rare case of a franchise which has no bad film over the course of six films, the franchise has been running for over 25 years and doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon and all of this is possible due to brilliant team behind the scenes and the dedication of Tom Cruise that no one in the industry possesses. That is why I'll ranking every Mission Impossible film to this date. 5. Mission Impossible II I mean, we all see it coming. Mission Impossible II is mostly considered to be the worst in the franchise, but does that mean it's a bad film...NO. Mission Impossible franchise has set such high standards for film-making that even their worst film is quite watchable, Mission Impossible II can be considered a pretty average movie with decent plot and some great Hong-Kong'ey' action due to the film being directed by John-Woo. You can easily watch this film one-time and be content with what you were shown since this film contains some beautifu...

Ranking Every Harry Potter Movie: Non-Spoiler

Today I'll be ranking down every Harry Potter movie that was released excluding the "Fantastic Beasts" franchise(I'll make a separate blog once it's planned 5 movies are released or I'll update this blog). Let's jump into it. I'll be ranking these movies on it's face value and try not compare it with the books since in my opinion you cannot imitate a book on it's entirety as you need to sacrifice/change some content so as to balance the run-time but I will compare the films with the books with the movies when deemed necessary. This is simply my list and you may write down your list in the comment section. I'll be giving 2 scores for every movie, one when compared to book and other score as simply a movie in a franchise 8. Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince This is the worst movie in the franchise because it is so not faithful to the books and I can ignore some of the liberties in screenplay writing when it doesn't affect the broader...
